We require the following information for you to register to download Wired With Wisdom: a valid email address (which will also serve as your login ID), the password that you were given, your full name, and your address including city, state and ZIP code. Please see our Privacy Statement for information on what we do with this data. Your registration will expire 30 days after you register.

Program Information
Wired With Wisdom is an easy-to-use, computerized course on Internet safety. Wired With Wisdom will introduce you to current Internet safety hazards and show you how to confidently protect yourself and your family from common online problems. You will find thorough explanations and solutions to common problems such as identity theft, Internet child luring, chat-room, instant messaging, and email concerns; spam and pop-up ads, precautions with children and the Internet, and personal website concerns. Parental discretion is advised as some topics may be frightening for children under 14. Our recommendation is for parents to preview the program before inviting children younger than 14 to participate in the learning activities.

The program has five segments. Depending on your level of computer skills, you should find that each segment takes 20 to 30 minutes. It is not necessary to complete all five sections at one time. The program will keep track of which sections you have completed so that you can return to complete additional sections at a later time. Speakers are necessary to hear the audio portions of the program. Wired With Wisdom only works on Windows-based PCs, not Apple/Macintosh.
