Pictures are affected by geolocation services on cell phones

As an avid picture taker I was surprised to learn that pictures are affected by the geolocation services on our cell phones. Recently NBC News did a segment highlighting this new threat and showing parents the simple ways to turn off geotagging to protect their kids. I immediately contacted my family members with the information they needed to disable this service on their phones. Geolocation is a remarkable technology but many of us are not aware that it is so specific that it can identify where our kids go to preschool or where our homes are through a picture. Our upcoming newsletter will show the quick and easy ways to turn off this service and protect your photos.
